LaPoile, a fishing village just east of Rose Blanche, in the Burgeo District of Southwest Newfoundland, was the home of Hannah (or Anna) Jane Taylor who married William Holly Glover Nichols. She was the mother of Dorothy Nichols, who in turn was Erica Clark Kenny's maternal great-grandmother.
